Antibiotics are useless to treat acute sinusitis

Studies show that a healthy diet to relieve acute sinusitis can be highly effective compared to the use of antibiotics.

In 2010, approximately 29.8 million adult Americans were diagnosed with sinusitis, a sinus infection.

A very large number of medical diagnoses led to the prescription of antibiotics to treat the problem, but new research shows that antibiotics are not yet effective in treating sinus infection. In fact, a placebo has been shown to be just as effective.

For the study, data from 166 adults affected with acute sinus infections with either moderate, severe, or very severe symptoms.

Specifically, the symptoms had to include pain or tenderness in the face and sinuses, and a runny nose that lasted 7 to 28 days. Each participant was randomly assigned a 10-day dose of an antibiotic known as amoxicillin, or a 10-day dose of a placebo.

While the antibiotics relieved symptoms more than the placebo until day 3, it was no more effective than the placebo for the remaining time period.

“ We hope this study provides scientific evidence that clinicians can use with patients to explain that an antibiotic does not promise to help an acute sinus infection… our results show that antibiotics are not necessary for a typical sinus infection. paranasal – most people get better on their own.”

Since the beginning of the use of antibiotics, the dose needed to potentially treat most  bacterial infections, including sinus infection, has increased dramatically.

The overuse of antibiotics has become a serious problem, even with mainstream physicians warning against overuse of these drugs due to permanent negative disturbances in the digestive flora. Contributing to mental illness, obesity, and metabolic syndrome.

Sinus infections almost always go away on their own, but there are ways to decrease the duration, the severity, and also avoid the negative experience.

Boosting one’s immune system through eating organic foods, exercising, and supplementing with powerful supplements like turmeric and vitamin D, is at the core of prevention.

Also, an absolutely fantastic solution for relieving symptoms is raw apple cider vinegar.  After consuming only apple cider vinegar, or combining it with other powerful painkillers such as cayenne pepper, you will undoubtedly see an improvement.
