Liver and gallbladder cleanse with grapefruit, lemon, garlic, olive oil and cayenne

The following story is the experience of a patient who suffered from severe digestive problems, and decided to carry out a liver and gallbladder cleanse, using this special diet.

He had it all: gurgling in his belly, hiccups, belching. During a physical exam a few years ago, my doctor suggested that I do a liver and gallbladder cleanse because my continued setbacks were a sign of a greasy or contaminated gallbladder. After seeing an improvement in the first cleanse, keeping the liver and gallbladder clean has become a priority for me.

How to do a liver and gallbladder cleanse effectively?

This cleaning is simple, but very effective. What I like about this cleanse is that you can eat throughout the day without starving yourself, without eating the same repetitive food at all. Fresh grapefruit juice contains flavonoids, antioxidants, enzymes that help dissolve and prevent gallstones, and cleanse the liver of toxins.

Eating fresh (raw or lightly steamed) dark green foods throughout the day to stimulate liver function, bile flow, and also improve digestion.

People always ask the same questions “Does this cleaning make you run to the bathroom?” or “Am I going to have diarrhea at work?” I can’t tell you how your body reacts to these ingredients, but I do this cleanse 3-4 times a year and have never had this problem.

It has been beneficial as I feel so good inside, my hiccups are gone, the whites of my eyes are brighter and my tongue is healthier in appearance. I take this every morning for 7 days.

Drinking this first thing in the morning on an empty stomach. I make the juice at night, but I don’t add the cayenne pepper until just before I’m ready to drink. In the book, it is suggested to wait 2 to 3 hours and then eat solid food, which would be breakfast.

Warning: Do not consume grapefruit or grapefruit juice if you are taking a high dose of statins. According to nutritionist, grapefruit juice can interfere with enzymes that break down certain types of prescription drugs, especially calcium channel blockers and cholesterol-lowering drugs, leading to an overdose.

As a general precaution, you should not take medication during a liver cleanse, even if you substitute lemon juice for grapefruit juice. The release of bile from the liver during cleansing could lead to abnormal absorption of other medications as well.
