There are several ways to combat allergies or prevent allergies and their symptoms. If you are prone to allergies, you can include some superfoods in your diet that will help you eliminate allergies.

1. Apples.

An apple a day can keep your immune system healthy and can help you eliminate allergies. Apples are loaded with quercetin, a flavonoid that helps effectively protect against allergic reactions. Quercetin stabilizes the cell membranes of mast cells and basophils, in turn, preventing the release of excess histamine in the body.

2. Turmeric.

The turmeric is another superfood to prevent allergies. It contains curcumin as an active ingredient, a powerful antioxidant and anti-inflammatory compound that helps fight allergies. Also, it works as a decongestant that can alleviate many symptoms of an allergic reaction.

9. Kale.
