Although there are currently hundreds of products to dye gray hair and give another color to hair, many of them are harmful to the quality and health of our hair. However, if you want to give your natural tone to that mane already a little invaded by gray hair, do not feel bad doing it, there is nothing written about tastes and everyone is free to choose between coloring their hair or taking care of the color of their gray hair, because these can also be seen very beautiful with due care.

How to dye gray hair naturally

Today we present you four simple homemade recipes that you can easily prepare yourself to apply to your hair and restore its original tone.

1. Black tea and sage

First, we present the recipe for black tea and sage that will be useful if you want your hair with a brown touch. We will only need the two components named above, a cup, aluminum foil and a strainer.

  • To begin we have to boil water and pour it into the cup, then add 3 tablespoons of sage and a bag of black tea. Stir and cover with the aluminum foil.
  • We must let the mixture rest for at least 12 hours and then place it.
  • We will apply it to the hair after washing it, leave it to act for about 20 minutes and rinse.
For best results, perform these steps 3 times a week.

2. Lemon

If the hair is light in color, you can also hide the gray hair or dye it naturally. To achieve a blonde tone, we must apply the juice of 3 to 5 lemons, depending on the length of our hair, spray with a little water and expose it to the sun for about 2 hours. Repeat these steps several times a week, since with just one time we will not be able to completely dye it.

3. Black tea

To make the dye for dark hair we need: black tea and a plastic container. First we must boil a cup of water, apply two bags of black tea. Let cool, rest for half an hour and apply to previously washed hair. Let it act for 30 minutes and rinse. Repeat several times a week, depending on how much we want to darken the hair.

4. Henna powder

If you want hair with a red touch, you will need 200 grams of good quality henna powder, 2 cups of lemon juice, a comb, plastic wrap, plastic or glass container.

Mix the henna and lemon well, and let the mixture rest in the container for 6 hours. The mixture will thicken a bit. Apply to hair separating by highlights, and comb to distribute evenly. Once that is done, wrap the hair with plastic wrap and leave it to act for 3 hours.

Thus, these recipes will be very useful to change the tone of your hair naturally, but you have to take into account that it is necessary to repeat them as many times as necessary to achieve the desired color. You may not achieve vibrant and radical hues like those achieved with chemistry, but this is a more natural and less damaging alternative for your body and after all.
