Add a cup of baking soda to a bathtub full of cold water. Stir well to mix the baking soda completely. Soak in this water for about half an hour. Repeat this every day.
For a more localized itch, make a paste by mixing three tablespoons of baking soda with one tablespoon of water. Apply the paste to the affected areas and let it work for about 10 minutes. Do this once a day and be careful not to use baking soda on open wounds.
