Juice to detoxify heavy metals

Ingredients

  • 2 small beets or beets (or 1 large)
  • 4 cups chopped cabbage
  • 2 cups of chopped celery
  • 1 medium cucumber
  • Half lemon
  • 1 bunch of parsley
  • 1 bunch of coriander
  • 2 inches of ginger
  • 1-2 teaspoons chia seeds (optional)

Instructions

Juice all the ingredients (except the chia seeds) through the juicer, or mix all the ingredients (except the chia seeds) in a blender if you don’t have a juicer. If you use a blender, and the juice is very thick, you can use a strainer to remove the larger particles (optional).

Add the chia seeds to your prepared juice, and let it soak for about 10 minutes. Chia seeds contain water soluble fiber, which gives them a jelly-like consistency once the seeds are soaked. This gel absorbs toxins in the digestive tract, helping your body cleanse itself.
