Natural remedies for gum care

The gums are one of the most delicate parts of the mouth and the ones that tend to suffer the most from poor grooming, neglect or various oral diseases. That is why we should not skimp on care and what better way than to do it naturally. Here are some natural gum care remedies.

Herbal powder to strengthen the gums

This natural recipe for gum care is made from sea salt, an ingredient that strengthens the gums; also, sodium bicarbonate that helps whiten teeth; and peppermint and ginger oil that help us fight bacteria in the mouth and freshen our breath.

Ingredients:
3 tablespoons of baking soda
3 drops of peppermint essential oil
1/4 tablespoon of crushed dry ginger
1/2 teaspoon of ground sea salt

In a small bowl mix the baking soda, peppermint essential oil, crushed dried ginger and ground sea salt. Pour the preparation into a jar or container with a lid. Daily use in doses of half a teaspoon is recommended, use it with a toothbrush as if it were a toothpaste.

Peppermint rinse to fight bacteria on the gums

The gums are one of the places where more bacteria are housed, that is why we must keep all kinds of infections or diseases at bay. In this recipe we will use peppermint essential oil, which is great for fighting odor-causing bacteria; in addition to aloe that helps reduce inflammation of the gums due to poor brushing.

Ingredients:
250 ml of water
6 drops of peppermint essential oil
1 teaspoon of vegetable glycerin
1 teaspoon of aloe juice

In a small bowl, mix the peppermint essential oil, the vegetable glycerin, the aloe juice and the water. Pour the preparation into a bottle with a lid. This natural rinse can be used daily, always remember to shake it before using it.

Herbal rinse for strong gums

In this natural remedy for gum care, we are going to use mint and anise seeds, which together cause a powerful antiseptic, in addition to fighting mouth odor.

Ingredients:
250 ml of hot water
2 teaspoons of fresh mint
1 teaspoon of anise seeds
1/2 teaspoon of tincture of myrrh

In a bowl, pour the anise seeds and fresh mint, add the hot water and cover, leave until the preparation cools. Once cold, strain the preparation and add the tincture of myrrh, make sure to stir it well; Pour the preparation into a bottle with a lid. You can use this rinse daily, do not forget to shake the bottle before using the mouthwash for the care and strengthening of the gums.
