Warts, or skin tags, are caused due to the accumulation of blood vessels and collagen in the thickest parts of the skin. Scientifically, these skin tags are called skin tags, also called soft fibroids, or fibroepithelial polyp. It is not the warts that we all know that describe the skin lesions caused by the human papillomavirus.

Causes of warts

These benign warts called skin tags, although they are called in the same way in the colloquial language, are not contagious and are not the product of a virus, they are manifested by family predisposition, and they occur more frequently in obese people. These benign warts are usually manifestations of different syndromes, such as acanthosis nigricans, or Birt-Hogg-Dubé, and that there are different lesions, such as pedunculated basal cell carcinomas or neurofibromas, which can be confused, however, what we are talking about today is of “normal” skin tags.
